Choosing someone to assess your child - or yourself - can feel overwhelming.
Aurelia understands this and works carefully to ensure the assessment process is respectful, thorough, and supportive from start to finish. With more than 25 years’ experience, Aurelia specialises in helping families understand how an individual learns, where challenges may lie, and what support will make the greatest difference. She has particular expertise in individuals with specific learning disabilities, individuals who are gifted, twice exceptional or whose needs may not be immediately obvious.
During report discussion meetings, Aurelia takes the time to explain assessment results clearly, helping individuals and parents make sense of information that can present as technical and complex. Her goal is always to ensure that assessment leads to useful insight and practical recommendations – whether that means support in school, at home or at a workplace, adjustments in learning, or access arrangements / Special Assessment Conditions for formal assessments and examinations.
Reaching out is often the first step towards clarity and support. Whether you are seeking an assessment, guidance, or simply want to talk through your concerns, you are welcome to get in touch.
Enquiries may relate to understanding a child or adolescent’s learning profile, discussing learning, behavioural, or wellbeing concerns, exploring support for school or examinations, or seeking guidance for yourself or your family or whānau.
You will be contacted by email or phone to discuss possible next steps. There is no obligation to proceed, and all enquiries are treated with care and confidentiality.
